I had the privilege of working with Leona Wilson on account of the Mississauga Chapter hosting our annual Financial Information Session for our Mississauga members and clients.
Leona Wilson was undoubtedly an asset to have at our 2012 Financial Information Session. Her extensive qualifications as a Certified Human Resources Professional, Certified Employee Benefits Specialist, and Compensation Management Specialist afforded our members and clients with an opportunity to communicate questions and/or concerns pertaining to a myriad of issues relevant to those affected by Multiple Sclerosis.
What was most impressive was Leona’s ability to adapt to eleventh-hour event divergences. Upon learning that the original attendance list had dropped significantly, Leona adjusted her presentation and catered specifically to those members and clients who were present, creating a much more intimate exchange.
Upon evaluation of the session, Leona received high ratings on all categories, including: communication and presentation skills; relevance and importance of the presentation content; and future recommendation of the presentation.

I contacted Leona Wilson by referral through a former colleague, as I was in a desperate situation to replace an instructor for one of my largest training programs. The only information that I was able to offer her was the basic learning objective for the course, and the topic. She would have less than a week to agree to step in, and to create a presentation with supplemental materials and contribute to the course exam. Leona was prompt to reply, and agreed, without hesitation, to help. She provided me copies of the materials ahead of the deadline, and the materials were even more than what I requested. The course director sat in on her presentation, and complimented her on her presentation style, and how well she delivered the content. The feedback from the class was quite positive.
